Brown Field Issues |

The Airport Advisory Committee (AAC) is working on the following issues:
- Brown Field RFQ for FBO and/or development of aviation uses
- Fund balance in the Airport Enterprise Fund and the numerous questions that are raised about expenditures
- FAA compliance issues that prompted enforcement actions including withholding grant funds
- Holding accountable the Airports Division for the two litigation settlements that cost $1.2 and $3.4 million dollars (BFAP and Paladin lawsuits)
- Dealing with the long history of Reg Finch and the San Diego Flight Museum
- Pursuing the electrical and lighting upgrade in the Capital Improvement Plan
- Affordable services for light general aviation aircraft
- Updating and approving the Master Plan for Brown Field
